Piure's Nex Pur has made the closed box a quiet art: matt lacquered MDF, seamless mitres, fine shadow gaps, made in Germany. As a wall installation or sideboard it disappears into the architecture, and everything inside disappears with it. Anyone considering Nex Pur values that discipline.

The configuration shown is the open counterpart: a wall-hung shelf of two sections (150 cm) at 85 cm height in 15 cm half depth. Where a front conceals, an open level presents – the wall stays visible, the objects carry the composition. Single cells can still close as boxes, with an oak back and sides, where contents should sit quietly.

Oak veneer (FSC European) on powder-coated aluminium, oiled and open-pored. Wall-hung KUUDU attaches along a single line at the top; freestanding models stand on oak foot rosettes. The 3D configurator shows price and dimensions live; made in Germany.

Closed fronts or open levels – which keeps a room calmer?

Depends on what lives there. Fronts calm a room by hiding; open levels calm it by ordering. KUUDU builds open by default and closes single cells as boxes, so both logics can share one shelf.

Does KUUDU work as a pure wall installation?

Yes. Wall-hung KUUDU attaches along a single line at the top, in 15 cm half depth or 35 cm full depth, and the composition is chosen per 75 cm section.

Is the material also made in Germany?

Yes – oak veneer (FSC European) on powder-coated aluminium, oiled surface, made in Germany. Extension and replacement modules ship within the standard delivery time.
