Two KUUDU lowboards in a sun-filled room, filled with design books

About KUUDU

For the years after.

Modular furniture from a handful of parts. Built to be rearranged, extended and passed on.

The idea

You buy furniture for a moment and then keep it for years. In that time almost everything changes: the home, the work, who shares the room. You rebuild a KUUDU instead of replacing it.

Most of what makes a home stays in motion. Furniture rarely does. It fits on the day it arrives and slowly goes wrong from there. We build the exception.

The in-between

Stay flexible, even after it is built

Most furniture captures one state. A KUUDU stays flexible. What is a narrow wall shelf today becomes wider tomorrow, lower, a sideboard, a coat rack.

That takes no new piece of furniture and no box full of special parts. You simply put the same boards and rods together differently. Your home changes, your KUUDU changes with it.

Lasting value

What can be rebuilt never has to be replaced

A KUUDU moves with you, grows with you, and if it does move on one day, the next room can use it just as yours did. That is what holds the value.

Custom-made fits exactly one life and loses most of that on moving day. A KUUDU does not.

The system

There is little behind it

A few boards, slim rods, a connector that holds both together. Almost everything comes from these parts. Because they always stay the same, they can be put together anew again and again. A kit, not a finished piece.

Delivery

In days, not weeks

3–5

Working days at KUUDU

The parts are in stock. Nothing starts only with your order.

8–12

Weeks for custom-made

Production starts only after configuring. Waiting is part of the principle.

We build furniture you do not buy finished. That you rearrange, extend, pass on. Fewer parts, thought through for longer.

It never becomes entirely finished, and that is the point.
