KUUDU
KUUDU is a modular shelving system made in Germany. The surface is FSC-certified European oak veneer; the carrier is powder-coated aluminium, oiled and open-pored. Shelves are built on a 75 cm section grid and put together in a 3D configurator, wall-mounted or freestanding.
What KUUDU is made of
Every board is oak veneer over an aluminium carrier. The surface is real oak, not solid wood. That keeps the build lighter and dimensionally stable, and it can be taken apart and reassembled. Parts join over steel rods, without visible screws.
Dimensions and grid
A shelf is built from 75 cm sections and extends sideways up to 450 cm. There are two depths: 35 cm full depth and 15 cm half depth. Levels and gap heights are chosen per section, so paperbacks sit closer together and art books get more room. Each board holds up to 20 kg.
Configuration
Every shelf is designed in a 3D configurator that shows price and dimensions live. Sections, levels, gap heights and closed boxes are set per cell. Expansion modules can be added later with the same parts when a room changes.
Origin, delivery, returns
KUUDU is made in Germany and ships across the EU. The shelves are a component system on a fixed grid, not made-to-measure. Every product, including shelves configured in 3D, therefore carries the full 14-day right of withdrawal.
